Mainly because NEWCASTLE UNITED was relegated from EPL. Second sad thing today was Bangalore challengers could not win the final..but atleast they reached the finals(which was good).
I don’t know why i was attracted to NewCastle, maybe because i loved Alan Shearer’s commitment to the team even when he got lucrative offers from other bigger clubs, but since when i was following EPL, i just loved the team. I hope they get back to EPL in 2011 season.

They are supposed to know all the subjects in the world, they are supposed to ask all the questions on those subjects, they are supposed to suffocate all the politicians, industrialists, economists, actors, entrepreneurs in debates/interviews etc etc… but did anyone ask them what they wanted???

I am in no way inclined to communist party. But the below words by Karl Marx(if he said so
), that shows how good a visionary he was.

I searched in DAS KAPITAL and did not find these words there and also many blogs says/states that these are not words by Karl Marx. One site says that the word technology was not used in those days as frequently as today.
Even if these are not his words we can relate these to the current situation. The recession which has hit all over the world…is it because the governing bodies did not have a control over the institutions running in their countries? We are forced to think so because of the actions different governments are taking (eg: US,Germany,UK, and many more) to resurrect big and small companies which are in a way, threatening to be extinct from the world.
A lighter side of this can be seen in Anu’s Blog.

This is what India needs… Educated,Young,Enthusiastic,non-corrupted(hard to get),having good leadership qualities…
I am not telling that all elders should be wiped out from the scene, but the migration should happen… elders can obviously play a role in molding the young ones into future leaders…
I happened to search the age of Lok Sabha MPs we have…and found only 34 MPs below the age of 40 and found 67 above the age of 70
. I personally think MPs all should have retirement age set.
Please visit : Lok Sabha Site Age Wise List
Now let’s take education…these are the people who are supposed to lead the country and only 158 of 545 members have a Post-Graduate degree/PHD and 17 have not cleared 10th standard
Please visit : Lok Sabha Site Qualification Page
Change is required for sure…from where/who/when???
When i saw an MP who has a website of his own…that makes me happy… even if he is projecting himself, this i am sure will easily reach the generation next…not through rallies/morchas/harthals/violence etc…

I have always been a slow reader and a lazy reader all my life…it would take me 6 months sometimes to complete a novel which will only be of 200 pages.
But there are 2 books which i completed pretty fast, fast in the sense when compared to my pace of reading
Those are
1. The Firm by John Grisham.
2. Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat.
The first one i had to finish fast because i had to return the book to my cousin in 2 months, hehe.
The second one is my record breaking books. It took me only 4 days to finish the book.Wow!! even i was surprised at the pace… with which i completed the book…
Now i am venturing into another book…another one from Chetan Bhagat.

18 long years and these 4 guys have not changed a bit

Every time we see a bit of the old movie it brings laughter to our face…that was the magic of “In Harihar Nagar”… and it did not change much in the sequel as well. One of the major factors which i think is that the 4 main characters have not changed much apart from that they look more mature. The innocent stupidness of Appukuttan, the ever romantic Govindankutty, the ideas(which always ends in some sort of trouble) of Mahadevan…they have not changed…
The only place where i thought the story was lagging was the climax portion apart from the suspense which was good.
all in all a very good movie

Everything in a nutshell
Today was Good Friday…the day jesus was crusified…spent almost all day in church…the only Good Friday which i missed was last time when i was in US. They don’t have a holiday…Surprising rite…anyways…I always liked the way people participate in church during special days…we can see almost everyone there on these days… We still have convetional service timings…that is…we still have midnight service for Maundy Thursday,Easter and Christmas.
Even though many churches have changed to timings which are convenient to people(which finishes by midnight) so that there will be more participation..we still stick on to the old timings…which i like
Ok thats all about today…
